Our Process

General Idea and Important Factors

This drill powered bike is meant to optimize power, efficiency, and torque in order to be able to run for a long time. We decided on certain factors that would allow us to succeed in this project with the given restraints.

Drive Train

The drill plate is where all the components of the drive train will reside. It must be machined to precision in order to create the correct tolerances for screws and bolts, which is why the drawing is so detailed. The drive train is the power of the vehicle, so the drill plate was one of the most important custom components.
