The final outcome of our project was a success; we were able to build a vehicle that was both functional

and successful in the endurance race.

Some highlights of our project:

• The 5:1 gear ratio allowed for the needed torque

• The design can support over 200 lbs on flat terrain, and 150 lbs on an incline

• The vehicle drove 7150 ft (1.37 miles or 2.18 km) before the battery died

• The throttle allows for adjustable speed/adjustable power output

• Total cost <$170
